Long before sustainability became a buzzword, Resmi P. Bhaskaran was working on environmental economics and sustainable development using EIA tools—her MPhil specialisation back in 1995—and later earned a doctoral degree in Policy History. She is a recipient of the SANEI Economic Research Award (2009).
An applied economist, she has built a career spanning evidence-based policy research and strategy development, with a focus on implementable processes and systems. She is an expert in designing evidence-based strategies, MEL frameworks, and sustainability interventions aligned with sustainability principles.
Her professional journey includes roles with Malayala Manorama, Interbrand, Sa-Dhan, Save the Children, the Institute of Human Development, Grameen Foundation for Social Impact, and MAHE. Being a CCA-certified coach, she mentors entrepreneurs and professionals.
Off the clock, she's happiest cracking complicated Sudoku puzzles.
